Sending a submission through the ESG involves the creation of an encrypted file. The process requires a minimum of three times the size of the submission. In the process of submission transmittal, a copy of the encrypted submission is left on the Desktop. This encrypted copy does not necessarily need to be archived. Over time, these copies can quickly fill a hard drive, reducing the space needed to complete the encryption process.
Users can now delete these files via the my FDA submissions window.
In conjunction, to maximize the available space, the hard drive(s) of a user's Desktop should have all non-essential files deleted on a weekly basis. One way to do this is to highlight the tar.gz files then shift delete. Do this regularly (weekly or monthly). This also keeps the users' inbox clean.

you do not have the correct version of Java installed.
5. Press "5" to set the trace level to the most detail. When you
do this correctly, you will see the following message in the Java

that we need.
6. Send your submission as usual.
7. If you see an error at any time, immediately stop (do not close IE)
and send any error screenshots along with all the files in the
following directory to "esgreg@gnsi.com":
